Position Details

Unit Information
- Unit: 5 East Medical PCU
- Number of Beds: 20
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses (RN or LVN), 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses (RN or LVN), 2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 4-5 patients per nurse
- Equipment: EMR system - Meditech
Required Skills and Certifications
- Must Have: PCU skill competency
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Preferred Skills: Additional PCU and Med/Surg experience considered a plus
Work Environment
- Floating Areas: All PCU and Med/Surg units
- Dress Code: Nurses wear royal blue scrubs; PCTs wear maroon
- Schedule: Rotating weekends

- Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 1 year
