Travel RN Opportunity - Endoscopy Unit
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit: Endoscopy
- Beds: 5 pre-op, 5 post-op, 2 procedural rooms
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
- Staffing: All RN staff
- Equipment: Bedside monitors, EKG machine, endoscopic procedural equipment
- Documentation System: Expanse
- Scheduling: 4-10 hour shifts with on-call weekends and after hours
- Floating: May float to local HCA Endoscopy facilities or pre-op/PACU
- Department Culture: Small, family-oriented with strong team dedication
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Endoscopy procedural experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in endoscopy
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Procedures Performed on Unit
- Colonoscopies
- Endoscopies
- ERCPs
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Blue scrubs (light blue preferred)
- Advanced skills: None required
- Patient Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year endoscopy experience
