Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Unit includes Orthopedics specialty.
• 12-hour shifts with approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Weekend hours every other week (EOW).
• Float requirements apply.
• Electronic Health Record system used: Meditech.
• Dress code: Navy scrubs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

• Patient population primarily adult.
• Call requirements not specified.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with common Med/Surg and Orthopedic diagnoses and treatments.
