Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Work in a 42-bed Heart Failure / Stroke Unit focused on patients with neurological and cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure and acute stroke.
Patient ratio: 1:6
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists.
The team specializes in managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions with precision and compassion.

Schedule & Work Details

Holidays as required.
Every other weekend.
36 or 48 hours per week available.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Patient-facing role.
Clinical position.
EMR system: Meditech.
Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
Parking available.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama.
BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.

Additional Notes

Must be flexible to float between units and hospitals as needed.
