Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Gastrointestinal (GI) Unit
Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: GI (Gastrointestinal)
Beds: 2 Endoscopy rooms
Staff: 6 total (Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 tech)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, PEG, Bronchoscopy, EBUS

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year of GI nursing experience
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Licenses: Registered Nurse License required
Personality Fit: Accountability, leadership, willingness, positive attitude, and flexibility

Work Schedule

Rotating weekends
Weekday on-call starting at 3 PM
Weekend on-call for 24 hours

Additional Information

Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
No floating required
