Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, working alongside Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and OR Technicians.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
Ensure availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases.
Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards.
Scrub in and assist physicians during surgical procedures.
Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR.
Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, hospital policies, and physician orders.
On-call duty required 8 days per month.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
Uniform: Navy scrubs.
