Job Description

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
• Must have experience with ventilators and tracheostomies.
• Knowledge of central lines required; wound care experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid California RN license.
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
