Travel RN - Endovascular OR

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Endovascular Operating Room (Endovascular OR)
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Call Requirements: 1 weekend call per month (9-10 days/month)
• Float Requirements: None

Experience & Certifications

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year Endovascular OR experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Required Licensure: Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred Certifications: None specified beyond required
• Preferred Experience: Surgical scrub experience preferred; surgical circulator experience in vascular OR required

Unit & Patient Information

• Unit Type: Endovascular Operating Room / Endovascular Lab
• Number of ORs: 2 ORs / 1 Endovascular OR
• Patient Population: Vascular surgery patients of all age groups
• Patient Ratios: Procedure area ratios (specific ratios not provided)
• Equipment Used: EMR (EPIC/Optime), OR table, patient monitors, suction, Altrix, Neptune, ESU, Zebra phone, warming devices, positioning aids, specimen containers and labels, documentation and count sheets, sterile instruments, tourniquet machine, lead aprons, patient transferring devices

Job Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub during endovascular procedures
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Function within nursing scope consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Blue scrubs provided by facility; no other attire allowed
• Flu Vaccination: Required November 1 - April 1; no declinations accepted

Summary

This is a travel RN position in the Endovascular OR requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and ACLS certification. The role involves circulating and/or scrubbing in vascular surgery procedures, with a day shift schedule and weekend call responsibilities. Prior travel experience is not required.
