Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Description

Medical Intensive Care Unit (16-bed, high acuity)
Provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients
Collaborative multidisciplinary care team
Focus on patient comfort, safety, and optimal outcomes

Work Schedule & Requirements

36 or 48 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Holidays as required by facility
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
Not a remote position
Clinical role
EMR system: Meditech
Dress code: Solid Navy scrubs
Parking available

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
Certifications:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA NIH or Red Cross equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred
- Will consider 18 months experience under highest professional license
- Must have 1 year of recent experience in ICU specialty

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals as needed
