Position Details

• Specialty: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
• Shift: Days, Monday - Friday (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: On-call rotation
• Call Requirements: Call from 4 PM to 7 AM; must take at least one day off weekly Monday - Thursday
• Number of Openings: 3

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in Ultrasound (higher value between sources)
• Required Certifications:

  • ARDMS
  • OBGYN
  • ABD
• Preferred Certification: RVT
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic sonograms for interpretation by radiologists
• Ultrasound coverage for Emergency Department, inpatients, and outpatients
• Ability to work independently is very important
• Use of GE ultrasound machines (S8, E9, E10) with trophon for high-level disinfection

Work Environment

• Facility Type: 251-bed acute care hospital
• Patient Load: Approximately 8-12 exams per day (estimates)
• Equipment: GE E10, Parks Flow Lab, S8
• EMR System: EPIC

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
