Job Overview

• Travel RN position in Carthage, Tennessee
• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• Weekly orientation on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel status

Unit and Patient Care

• Labor and delivery specialty with work in labor/delivery, nursery, and postpartum units
• Patient population includes maternity women and newborns
• 1:2 patient ratio
• 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
• May float as needed
• Call requirement: 3 twelve-hour shifts per 4-week schedule
• Weekend coverage is every other weekend, rotating as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Nursery experience
• Post Partum experience
• ACLS
• AWHONN
• BLS
• NRP

Skills and Experience

• Labor and delivery experience
• Fetal monitoring

Additional Notes

• Positive attitude, cooperative, and initiative are preferred personal traits
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Casual attire and other facility apparel are not allowed
