MRI Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Role: MRI Technologist
• Specialty: MRI
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes 30-minute lunch)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Call Requirements: 1-2 days during the week plus every third Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Equipment Used: GE Signa Artist 1.5T
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech
• Patient Population: Geriatric, Adult, and Pediatric

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• Graduate of an approved MRI program
• Registered and certified with ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT
• Current BLS certification
• Must have all required certifications prior to start; additional certifications may be required by client
• Must be fingerprinted and undergo a background check as per New Mexico state requirements (travelers may start on a 14-day waiver with supervision while waiting on results)
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed)
• Employee parking available on the west side of campus
