CT Tech Travel Job – California, Fairfield

Job Summary

• Perform CT examinations following established protocols.
• Assist and instruct patients before and during exams.
• Evaluate each study to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being during examinations.
• Inspect and clean equipment prior to use.
• Report equipment failures, patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions per quality assurance policies.
• Process images, organize paperwork, and complete charges.
• May work in other department areas such as radiology and ultrasound.
• Adhere to organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and Department of Health.
• Take call or stand-by as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Contract Details

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start: ASAP
• Shifts: Potentially all shifts; primary day shifts during the week and PM shifts on weekends
• Shift Times (all 8-hour shifts):

  • Day: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • PM: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Graveyard: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Preferred schedule example:

  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday to Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
