• 3rd shift, 7p-7a
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge support, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Experience in the specialty area of observation unit nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Performs and documents comprehensive patient assessments
• Develops and prioritizes patient care plans based on patient needs and interprofessional input
• Implements nursing interventions and therapies within scope of practice
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately
• Coordinates care for multiple patients and delegates tasks as appropriate
• Supports discharge planning and discharge teaching
• Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
