Overview

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Schedule: Days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Assists cardiologists with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiologic procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation.
Works in the Cath Lab and supports patient care during coronary invasive procedures.

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist (3 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
IEMA License in Rad Technology
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT Registration in Radiology
Associate's degree in a related field or certificate of completion for a radiology program
Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and the purpose and operation of equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
Knowledge and competency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol
Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and the fluoroscopic anatomy and physiology involved in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
Ability to recognize and assist in treatment of any complication arising from cardiac/vascular/EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
