Job Description

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images for physicians.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and optimal positioning during imaging.
• Collaborate closely with physicians by taking medical histories, keeping records, and adjusting the scanner as directed.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (Required)
• Completion of an accredited MRI program (Required)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (Required)
• Must become registered in MRI within two (2) years of date of hire in the MRI department. Failure to do so will result in termination from the MRI Tech position. Transfer to other modalities (e.g., General X-ray or CT) may be possible depending on qualifications and availability.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of experience as a Technologist in Imaging Services

• 13 weeks
