Prepare for and perform all examinations while operating assigned equipment safely
Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
Maintain cleanliness of scanner and minor equipment per infection control policies
Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
Follow universal blood and body substance precautions and PPE requirements
Comply with continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
Efficiently utilize current EMR and complete required paperwork for each exam
Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and patient handling devices
Communicate with patients' family members or caregivers when necessary
