Postpartum Nurse Opportunity

Location: New York, NY
Specialty: Post Partum (Mother/Baby Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery)
Unit: ACH 18 - Postpartum

Employment Details

Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM (11.5 hours)
Schedule: 3 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off (rotating)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity

Position Requirements

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Travel nursing experience
Level 1 Trauma experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty within the last 3 years
2 references from most recent assignment within skill set
Willingness to float to units appropriate for skill set
New York State RN license in hand
AHA BLS certification
Skills checklist matching required skill set
EMR experience
COVID-19 vaccination required prior to start date (no declinations)

Additional Information

Scrubs: Navy bottom + white top with dark shoes OR all white with white shoes
Interviews required: Voice Advantage interview plus nurse manager screening/interview
Start dates: Weekly, with 4-6 weeks average needed to complete compliance
