Job Opportunity: RN - ER I

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
  • Shift Length: 11.5 hours
  • Hours per Week: 34 (choice)
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity
  • Dress Code: Navy bottom + white top or all white (shoes color depends on uniform)

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license for New York State
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ER specialty within the last 3 years
  • AHA BLS certification
  • AHA PALS certification
  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved medical exemption
  • Experience in a large academic (teaching) hospital setting required
  • EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience
  • Skills checklist matching required skill set
  • Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset

Additional Notes

  • Local NYC travelers may be considered upon review and approval
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Interviews required: Voice Advantage Interview + Nurse Manager Screening/Interview
