Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Greenville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a patient ratio of 1:2.
May float to other inpatient units with varying patient ratios:
- Intermediate Care: 1:4-5
- General Care: 1:5-7 (possibly 1:5-8 in community hospitals)
Work includes Level 1 Trauma care.
Floating between multiple nearby hospitals within the region (approximately 35-40 minutes travel between sites).
Shift assignments communicated on the day of the shift to allow travel planning.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (Compact license accepted).
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Level 1 Trauma experience.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
Prior travel nursing experience.

Interview required prior to placement.
