Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota
  • 13-week contract
  • Start date: ASAP
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 12-hour day/night variable shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
  • Float scope: within the ED
  • May be low censused and put on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
  • Every other weekend and holidays as needed
  • Radius rule: contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

  • Minnesota RN licensure
  • ARC or AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
  • 2+ years of ER experience
  • At least 1 travel assignment

Preferred

  • Epic familiarity
  • ED experience with adults and pediatrics
  • Trauma center experience

Unit Details

  • Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center
  • Approximately 75 patients per day
  • Typical patient ratio: 4:1, not fixed

Additional Notes

  • Scrub color: royal blue
  • No sweatshirts or hoodies
  • During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
