Job Opportunity: CT Technician (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift Requirements:

  • 8-hour shifts with 4 different start times depending on the day:

    • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

• On-Call Requirements:

  • On-call 1 night per weekday (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • On-call every 6th weekend (Friday through Sunday, 24/7)
  • Call back minimum of 2 hours with pay if called in

• Weekend/Holiday Requirements:

  • No holiday shifts required

• Guaranteed Hours:

  • 24 hours per week (48 hours per pay period)
  • Hours not guaranteed during orientation week or holidays when unit is closed

• Radius Rule:

  • Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT) (R)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Must have experience in CT and general X-ray
  • Experience with portable X-ray preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred

• Prior Travel Experience:

  • Not explicitly required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general X-ray imaging
• Operate Siemens 120 slice CT scanner, Medrad Syringe, Philips Portable and Philips Rad room equipment
• May assist with Dexa and EKGs (not required)
• Be prepared for variable daily tasks including CT, general X-ray, and portable imaging

Additional Information

• No specific scrub color required
• Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours, which count toward unbillable hours
• Flu and COVID vaccination required during flu season or mask must be worn at all times per facility policy
• Failure to comply with vaccination/mask policy may result in corrective action
