Registered Nurse – NICU

Location: Oconomowoc, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily on a 36-bed Mother/Baby/Postpartum unit with NICU focus.
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
• Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Float as needed to other units or nearby facilities based on census and approval.
• No mandatory on-call requirement; optional call shifts available for additional pay.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 in Labor, 1:3 in Antepartum, 1:3 for Mom/baby couplets.
• Case levels: 1 through 3.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Required skills include triage, patient evaluation, and circulating in the OR.
• Work environment values independence, resilience, flexibility, and strong communication.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an LDRP RN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum).
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed is required.
• NICU training is highly preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless a medical or religious exemption applies.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week, except during holidays when the unit may be closed.
• Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed).
• Floating outside clinical skills requires approval from employee and management.
