Job info

Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography.
Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
Ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled according to department SOP.
Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
Complete all studies in IDX system.
Accurately record all required patient tracking information.

Valid Mammography Technologist license in New York.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year.
Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Echocardiography certificate.
