Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse

Location: Greenfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

General Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit in a community hospital setting
Unit size: 43 beds
Patient population includes cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, opiate/alcohol withdrawal, GI issues, and more
Typical cases: chest pain rule out, post-operative care (gallbladder, appendectomy, gynecological, colectomy), pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID-19, flu, etc.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5-6 patients per nurse

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
Charting system: Cerner CIS

Team Environment

Patient-centered staff with a collaborative team approach
