Job Details

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment type: Contract
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

RN license
ACLS
BLS
1–2 years of experience preferred
Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry

Unit Information

Intermediate care unit with both medical-telemetry and medical step-down patients
42 beds total
Expected ratios: 1:3 for intermediate care and 1:6 for medical
May float to other units
RNs work on both sides of the floor

PNA
COPD exacerbation
DKA
HHS
ETOH withdrawal
GIB
Sepsis
PE
UTI
Respiratory failure

Additional Notes

Agency must be outside a 90-mile radius from the facility
Agency documentation required before offer includes Massachusetts placement agency license, Massachusetts temporary nursing service agency license, and insurance upload to MYCOI
