Job Description

• Manage all areas of the medical laboratory including Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coagulation, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Anatomical Pathology.
• Perform lab manager duties such as quality control review, interviewing and onboarding staff, clinical lab oversight, scheduling, productivity review, validation procedures, and CAP regulatory readiness.
• Use LIS system EPIC Beaker and equipment including Abbott Alinity, Immucor ECHO, Sysmex XN3100, Sysmex CA5100, and CA2500.
• No phlebotomy required.
• Generalist role covering multiple lab disciplines.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification via AMT preferred; ASCP certification also preferred.
• Previous lab manager experience required.
• BLS certification is not required.
• Must be able to submit a valid driver’s license.
• Must be available in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote).

Additional Information

• Orientation and work schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call duties.
• Radius requirement: within 60 miles of the facility.
• Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager.
