Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring adherence to quality control protocols
• Assisting in maintaining laboratory equipment
• Supporting staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Graduation from a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) training program approved or accredited by recognized organizations
• ASCP certification (must be current and verifiable)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years recent laboratory supervisor experience
• At least 3 years of Medical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in supervisory roles
• Laboratory Technician experience

Experience Requirements

• Specialty experience: 3 years (based on supervisor experience requirement)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
