Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE). Responsibilities include cleaning TEE probes, writing preliminary echo reports, and working across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call required: after-hours and weekend rotation

Patient Ratio

• 5:1

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full and limited adult echos and TEE procedures
• Clean TEE probes
• Write preliminary echo reports
• Perform pediatric echocardiograms (pediatric experience required)
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
• Use EMR systems for echo reports
• Perform EKGs and Holter monitor hookups, edit and file cardiology records, and assist with billing charges

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cardiac Sonographer license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1+ years of Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult and pediatric patients, including pediatric echocardiography
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS certification
• RDCS, RCS, or ACS credential required

• Blocked scheduling and 48-hour guarantees cannot be accommodated
