Overview
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Shift: Night
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Details
- Intermediate care assignment in a unit split between Intermediate Care and overflow.
- Intermediate Care is 20 beds.
- Overflow is an 8-bed open unit.
- Patient population includes high acuity O2, bipap, trachs, vents, heparin, insulin, and cardiac drips.
- Overflow helps decompress the emergency room, and patients typically transfer to med surg units when beds become available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
