Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Schedule: Evening/Night shifts
- Hours: 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0730
- Days: Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required
Patient Care Unit Requirements
- Experience Required:
- Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or a similar size hospital.
- Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.
Patient Ratios
- General Care: 1:4
- Intermediate Care (IMC): 1:2
Licensure and Certification
- Nursing License: Must have a Wisconsin nursing license or a compact license from the permanent address state.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - must be certified through the American Heart Association only.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - check unit description for requirements.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - check unit description for requirements.
- Basic Arrhythmia experience is required; passing a telemetry test is mandatory prior to starting.
Additional Requirements
- Floating: Travelers may be scheduled in multiple units based on staffing needs.
- Permanent Address: Must be within 50 miles of the assigned primary work site location.

- Drug Testing: Required for all clinical candidates.
