• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required (dedicated CVICU staff experience).
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
  • Travel experience preferred.

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • EPIC experience required.

• Skills:

  • Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
  • Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs.

• Floating Requirements:

  • Travelers will float at Premier's discretion and may be assigned to different campuses within a 15-mile radius.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.

Additional Information

• Important Notes:

  • First-time travelers are welcome; an Ohio license is not required.
  • Overtime is paid out after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts.
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel shifts due to low census with two weeks' notice.

• Scrubs: Navy Blue

Documentation Requirements

• Health Documents:

  • Annual Health Questionnaire
  • Physical Exam (within 2 years)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Drug Testing (including marijuana panel)
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation

• Certifications:

  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Additional certifications as required by the unit (e.g., TNCC, EFM, etc.)

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM checks
  • HHS/OIG checks

• References:

  • Two professional references required, one from a Manager/Supervisor/Charge RN.
