Job Description

Requirements:
- MA license in hand required
- BLS certification
- Prior ambulatory experience

Certifications and Qualifications

Required Certifications

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required for specific units)
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (required for specific units)
NALS - Neonatal Advanced Life Support (required for specific units)
Tech Cert Verification - National (required within 30 days of start)
NURSYS Verification (required within 30 days prior to start)
Medication Exam (required for all RNs and LPNs)
Telemetry Exam (required for RNs in telemetry units)

Preferred Certifications

CHEMO - Chemotherapy (preferred for Oncology)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (preferred for Psych)

Health and Safety Requirements

Flu Seasonal Vaccination - Required during flu season
COVID-19 Vaccination - Required or declination form
TB Questionnaire - Required for all candidates
Physical Exam - Required within 12 months of start

Background and History Checks

7-Year Criminal Background Check - Required within 30 days of start
References - 2 references within three years of start
Employment Application - Must include 7 years of employment history

Valid ID is required
Time-sensitive documentation required for all candidates
Candidates must pass specific exams with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation to avoid cancellation
