EP Lab RN Travel Contract

Job Overview

Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
Hours: 40 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Call: Required

Work Setting

Adult cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology environment
Float to Milford Campus as needed
Short-term acute care hospital
Level II trauma center

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Required Certifications

NURSYS verification
State license verification

7-year criminal background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Sex offender search
Education verification
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 12 months of start
Negative TB documentation or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Drug screen within 12 months of start
Employment application with 7-year work history and no gaps greater than 90 days
Work history verification for the last 7 years
Skills checklist within 12 months of start
