Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Helena, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide behavioral health nursing care primarily to children and adolescents.
• Patient population includes children/adolescents with suicidal ideations, ADHD, and spectrum disorders.
• Facility operates 24/7 with an 82-bed capacity.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
• Schedule requires every other weekend coverage; open to 3x12 or 4x12 shifts.
• Locals accepted at travel rate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric behavioral health nursing experience within the last year.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Behavioral health experience, including milieu management.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred; facility will provide training if candidate does not have it.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
