Overview

Travel/Contract role in Beckley, West Virginia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ARRT
Driver's License

Schedule and Call

Monday through Friday with 1 rotating weekday off each week
Call requirement: 20 shifts per 9-week schedule, every other weekend

Clinical Setting

2 Cath Labs with rotation in EP Lab
8–10 procedures per day
6–8 STEMI cases per month
Call team includes 2 RNs and 1 Rad Tech

Responsibilities

Table panning
Scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
Assist with Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and ACIST injector
Device implants include pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V), plus peripheral diagnostics and interventions
Cross-trained in EP (ablations); training available
Uses both radial and groin access

National tech certification copy

Additional Notes

Scrubs and lead apron provided
Orientation is held bi-weekly
Assignment confirmation is due within 24 hours of offer
