Overview

Required Qualifications
- Previous travel experience required
- Alaska license in hand
- 1 year of experience
- LTC experience
- BLS
- First timers not accepted
- Locals not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending license not accepted
- Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years
Preferred
- Preference is for travelers willing and able to work any holidays
Schedule Notes
- Caregivers are not asked to rotate between night and day shifts, except for occasional urgent staffing needs
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not accepted
- Float within scope to meet facility needs
Additional Information
- Alaska Food Worker Certification is obtained during orientation on-site and is required for working in a LTC facility
- RTO of more than 2 weeks will not be considered for a 26-week contract
- Parking is free
- Shuttle transportation is arranged to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the contract
- A local shuttle is available in Seward
