Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Akron, Ohio
12-week assignment
Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
On-call required
Floating to various supported locations is required
Outpatient patient ratio varies
First-time travelers are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Pediatric Echocardiography experience within the last year
Pediatric Echocardiography (5 years of experience)
Cardiac Sonographer experience
One completed travel assignment
Must be PEDS Registered through ARDMS or RCCS
ARDMS or RCCS
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Unit-specific competency exam
Core Part I
Core Part II
Core Part III
Two positive professional references, including at least 1 from the most recent employer
3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
Valid government-issued photo ID
7-year criminal background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM
HHS/OIG
Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprint results
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Tdap within 10 years of start
TB clearance
TB questionnaire
Rubeola immunity
Mumps immunity
Rubella immunity
Hepatitis B immunity or declination
Varicella immunity
Standard 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Signed computer security agreement
Signed HIPAA/confidentiality statement
Signed HIPAA privacy training acknowledgement
Signed NES staff badge form
Signed non-employee personal information form within 72 hours of contract signature
Signed float policy
Signed fingerprint clearance attestation
