Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Newport News, Virginia
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
  • 13-week contract
  • Acute care hospital setting
  • Will cover ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced
  • Level II trauma center with 3 ICUs
  • Staffing runs 7–10 RTs depending on census

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network or American Safety and Health Institute
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network or American Safety and Health Institute
  • Experience with Epic
  • 2 professional references
  • Application/Resume required

Preferred

  • PALS if possible
  • NRP if has NICU experience
