Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Seattle, Washington
• 20–26 weeks
• Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Required to work all scheduled shifts
• Floating within scope is required
• Every other weekend required
• Local candidates accepted
• No block scheduling
• Ratios: 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral nerve catheters
• Float experience
• Ortho Trauma experience
• Stroke experience
• Cardiology experience
• Experience with Epic

Unit / Role Details

• MS/Tele float role covering acute care and telemetry units
• Experience with ortho, neuro-stroke, and cardiac telemetry required
• High-volume ortho floors may include peripheral nerve catheters
• Split 12-hour shifts may be divided between two areas, so strong time management is important

Schedule / Holiday Expectations

• Travelers may have 1 of 3 major holidays off
• Must work 2 holidays, including eve/day coverage
• No Christmas RTO

• Epic charting
• Any solid-color scrubs; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
• On-site parking is available for a fee
