Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Escondido, California
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, 3x12 hours
  • 36 hours per week
  • Float pool role covering DOU/PCU, Med Surg, and Tele
  • Required to float between Escondido and Poway campuses based on need
  • Weekends required
  • No locals

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience
  • Critical Care Float experience within the last year
  • 1 year or more of total travel experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Required Skills

  • ICP monitoring
  • PA catheters
  • Procedural sedation

Additional Notes

  • Cerner EMR familiarity is listed in the source
  • References required: 2 within 3 years of hire, from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN
