Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Greensboro, North Carolina.
  • 26-week assignment.
  • Primarily medical-surgical patient population on a tele-capable unit.
  • Nights: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Charge RN shifts may be required as needed.
  • Float required across all Cone Health facilities if needed.
  • 1:6 ratios.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina.
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
  • 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • NIHSS.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Driver's License.
  • Experience with Epic.

Responsibilities / Clinical Experience

  • Use of Rapid Response teams.
  • Blood product administration.
  • Peripheral line care management.
  • Starting IVs.
  • Heparin, Insulin, and PCA.
  • Nasal cannula.
  • Isolation precautions.
