Neuro ICU RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Dayton, Ohio
13-week contract
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
Floating is required at the employer’s discretion, including between the Main Campus, South Campus, and North Campus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
Stroke experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Preferred

Unit / Clinical Setting

Fast-paced ICU treating neurological diseases and disorders, including seizures and strokes
Comprehensive stroke center
Also treats overflow ICU patients from Medical Surgical ICU and Heart and Vascular ICU

Additional Notes

RTO must be requested with the initial submittal; no RTO will be added after the offer
Submittal must include the application and current Nursys report
Other certs are not needed if listed on the application
