MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours each)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic MRI procedures supporting quality healthcare services.
- Experience required with Siemens MRI equipment.
- Procedures include Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Breast (preferred), Cardiovascular (preferred), Spine/Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Perfusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, Maximum Intensity Projection (preferred).
- Work with patients of all ages, from neonate to older adult, in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
- Follow isolation precautions as required.
- Must have experience using Epic electronic health record system.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance) certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
