Location: Burbank, California

Job Summary
Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. The position requires floating between the outpatient center and hospital units. First-time travelers are accepted, and local candidates are welcome.
Requirements
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
Work Environment
- Acute Care Hospital setting.
- Total staffed beds: 392.
- Charting system: Mediteach.
- Free parking available.
- Scrub color: Any.
On-Call & Scheduling
- No on-call required.
- Floating between outpatient center and hospital units.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Background Checks
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.
- Must include SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, and motor vehicle record if applicable.
- Background checks must be updated annually.
- Specific state and facility searches may be required depending on assignment location.
Health & Immunizations
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) required for travel assignments.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required or declination forms accepted for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs within 12 months)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) or positive titers
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
Drug Testing
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests).
- Negative results required.
References & Employment History
- Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years.
Training & Competency
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
- Competency exams required as applicable by specialty.
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit-by-unit basis.
- Specialty-specific and regional training modules must be completed annually via the employer’s LMS platform.
- Epic system training modules may be required depending on location.
Additional Notes
- Floating policy acknowledgment required.
- Passport-style badge photo required.
- Various state-specific and facility-specific compliance documents may be required depending on assignment location.
- Physical and health document requirements vary for clinical vs. non-clinical and remote vs. onsite roles.
