Job Summary
Seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech with a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in Radiology / Cardiology. This is a weekend night shift position (Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with a daily caseload of 100-120 patients across 5 rooms. The role involves general radiography for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, fluoroscopy, and operating room settings.

- Imaging Areas: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Fluoroscopy, Enema Studies, Surgery/C-Arm
- Software: EPIC, McKesson
- Training: Day shift orientation from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, every weekend (Friday-Sunday)
- Call: None
- Float: None
- Prior travel experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with PACS, portables, C-Arm, and contrast studies
- Experience performing imaging on head, upper extremities, fluoroscopy studies, and enema studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in teaching or community hospital settings
- Familiarity with NICU, PICU units
- Experience with GE, Siemens, Canon imaging equipment
- Certifications such as PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification, and Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) preferred
Additional Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific immunization and exemption forms (Tdap, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu)
- Respiratory safety clearance questionnaire
- Photo for badge (passport style, jpeg format)
- Auto insurance proof if applicable (for home health/hospice roles)
- Compliance attestations and orientation safety manual acknowledgment
Important Notes
- Candidates who have previously been employed by the associated health system are not eligible for this travel assignment regardless of separation time or duration of prior employment.
- Background checks must be completed and cleared within 30 days prior to start date; no pending background checks allowed at start.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Fit mask testing is required annually; facility provides on-site training if needed.
