Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Huntington, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift options:
- 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 8:45 AM - 9:15 PM, 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM)
- 8-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 8:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM)
Weekend availability required, usually Saturdays, working every other weekend
No on-call required
Scrub preferred, circulate required
Must be able to function in multiple surgical areas including Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, ENT, and others
Quick interview and offer process; traveler-friendly environment

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and ENT Surgery
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Must have experience functioning in multiple surgical specialties including trauma and various surgical subspecialties

Additional Information

Medical and religious exemptions for flu vaccine are accepted with proper documentation
Facility requires compliance with all health and safety protocols
