Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Escondido, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: Nights, Wednesday - Saturday, 2100-0730, 4x10 hour shifts
Shift Details: Typically two weekend shifts and 1 call shift per two-week pay period
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Additional Certifications (Preferred/Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only (required for Radiology Tech - IR and related areas)
- Other certifications may be applicable depending on assignment but not explicitly required for this role

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP confirming good health and free of communicable diseases
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start (annual renewal required for direct hires)
- Negative 9-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start
- TB screening (2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot) or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Required immunizations or titers: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (vaccines or positive titers; declinations accepted where noted)
- Flu vaccination or declination form required annually prior to flu season
- COVID vaccination preferred; declination form required if unvaccinated
- Badge photo with white background required prior to start
- Online orientation and compliance training required before start
- Skills checklist and employment application required, with skills checklist updated annually
- References: 2 required within 3 years from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN
Competency Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam with 80% pass rate, completed within 12 months of start
- Unit Specialty Competency Exam with 80% pass rate, completed within 12 months of start
- Core Parts I, II, and III competency exams with 80% or above, updated annually
