Schedule

• 40-hour schedule
• Monday to Friday: 1 shift, 8 hours
• Weekend: 2 shifts, 16 hours each (Saturday and Sunday, 6 AM - 10 PM)

Job Description

• Perform plain films, fluoroscopy, and assist in surgery
• Float to surgery when needed
• Rotating on-call required
• Holiday work required
• Experience with neonate, infant, and geriatric patients
• Experience with enema studies and surgery/C-arm procedures
• Equipment used includes PACS, GE, Philips, and Siemens systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid X-Ray Technician license in Louisiana (LSRT)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Experience working with neonate, infant, and geriatric patients and imaging
• Experience with enema studies
• Experience with surgery/C-Arm procedures
• Experience with Epic system

Certifications (Required)

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technologist license)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on float assignments
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) may be required depending on unit
• NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on float assignments

Additional Requirements

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID required
• Background checks including SSN trace, 7-year county residence, nationwide search, sex offender search, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG required
• TB questionnaire required
• MMR and Varicella attestations required
• Physical exam, drug testing, and some immunizations may not be required but follow state and agency policies
• Passport-style photo for badge required

Experience Notes

• Prior travel experience not explicitly required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Must be able to float to surgery and work rotating on-call shifts
