Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule & Work Hours
- 4x10-hour shifts between 6 AM - 7 PM
- Weekends as needed
- Must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
- No call requirements
- No holiday requirements
- Floating as needed
Unit Information
- Invasive Cardiology Unit with:
- 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
- 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
- 2 shared cath/EP labs
- 33 prep/recovery bays
- Performs over 6,000 procedures annually
- Advanced cardiovascular treatments including:
- Complex coronary procedures
- Ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping)
- Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
- Pacemaker/ICD implant & explant
- Cardioversion
- Pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation
- Peripheral intervention
- Pulmonary embolectomy procedures
- May care for COVID patients
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS required
- EPIC experience required
- Return to Office (RTO) max 7 days
Credentialing & Compliance Documents
- I9 or Attestation
- Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- PA FBI Fingerprinting within 1 year of start (must be on file within first 45 days of assignment)
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search within 1 year of start (must be finalized prior to start)
- Education Verification (highest level)
- Pending Background Check Attestation if fingerprints or child abuse search results are pending at start
- Professional References: 2 within last 3 years
- Employment Application or most recent resume
- Annual Skills Checklist
Certifications & Competencies
- ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- BLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Other certifications as applicable (PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, etc.)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail with remediation process)
- State License verification (primary source)
- NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
- Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
- COVID-19 Vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption or declination
- Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only, not required by facility)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
